Job DescriptionCivil Defense litigation law firm seeking paralegal/legal assistant with 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity. Excellent work environment and benefits.This is a full-time hybrid position in Geneva, Illinois working two days remote.Candidate Qualities:Highly organized and detail orientedProficient time management with ability to work independentlyStrong computer skills with MS WordTyping speed minimum of 50 WPM with high accuracyStrong sense of discretionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsResponsibilities Include:Maintain firm calendar including statute of limitation deadlines, setting depositions, court hearings, client meetings and telephone conferences, etc.Ability to draft correspondence, detailed analysis of medical records & bills, form pleadings & discovery, and deposition abstractsOdyssey e-filingAssist Attorneys with trial preparation and general litigation supportManage documents, organize case files and assemble exhibitsAssemble chronologies of key documentsAnswering PhonesSalary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearSchedule: Monday to FridayTravel Requirements: No travel
