Livestock Brand Inspector

Applicants must live within 25 miles of Scottsbluff, NE. This position will require a flair for the livestock industry, a passion for accuracy, a willingness to work with people and the desire to offer outstanding customer service. Brand Inspectors are required to work under general supervision of the Chief Inspector, Area Supervisor, and In-Charge Inspectors handle local livestock inspections, auction market sales as designated, or whenever services are requested. Inspectors will be responsible for, identifying brands on cattle, processing and oversight of brand inspection data into the brand inspection system, cross referencing paper records to ensure data integrity for all inspections, according to Nebraska State statutes. ALL APPLICANT MUST HAVE CATTLE HANDLING EXPERIENCE AND BE FAMILIAR WITH THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY.The beginning wage will be equivalent to $15.04
