SmarterDx is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead our analytics team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions, provide actionable insights, and ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and integrity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the analytics team to foster a culture of excellence and innovation in data analytics
Develop and implement advanced analytics methodologies to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytics projects that align with company goals
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analytics, implementing rigorous testing and validation processes
Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes and methodologies, staying current with industry best practices and emerging trends
Develop and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Provide thought leadership in the field of analytics, advocating for the use of data to drive business innovation.

Your Qualities
Must-Have Areas of Expertise:

3-5+ years of experience with managing multiple senior analysts, project organization, deliverable prioritization
Advanced SQL proficiency
Python/Airflow proficiency
Customer reporting and data visualization
Experience with ETL/ELT processes, particularly with healthcare data (clinical, billing, or both)
Analytics infrastructure integration, preferably with DBT and Snowflake

First Year Focus:

Advancing customer-facing analytics dashboards to highlight the value SmarterDx brings to customers
Crafting and maintaining internal dashboards to better understand and leverage our data
Investigating potential problems or opportunities identified in the data
Growing and managing the analytics team, providing leadership and direction
Building infrastructure to deploy data products or "Insights as a Service" to customers.

Time Allocation (First Year):

20% analytics projects
50% people management
15% strategic initiatives
15% project management

Preferred Professional Certifications:

Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles, or Cogito certifications (nice-to-have)

Our Data Science stack

Databases: Snowflake (primary), DynamoDB
Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (including S3, MWAA, Sagemaker)
Technologies: SQL, dbt, Python

Compensation

$170-200k+ base salary (upward flexibility for more Senior candidates) + equity
