Established sheet metal fabricator is seeking a CAD Drafter / Mechanical DesignerUse Autodesk Inventor to create comprehensive 3D models of the products* Create shop drawings of those models for the factory workers to use and reference if there are any questions.* Send 3rd party agencies such as UL, Miami-Dade, TX dept of Insurance construction drawings and installation instructions.* Engineering of new productsUse Autodesk AutoCAD to create 2D drawings of products.* These drawings include dimensioned views as well as cut-a-way views. Installation guides with detailed screw patterns of each product with material properties and various tolerances.Be a company liaison with UL when they perform their quarterly inspections.Travel to testing agencies to observe and document the testing of our products.This position offers the opportunity for substantial career development.Our company has medical benefits, 401K matching and profit sharing plus more benefits.
