MEDICAL BILLER:Genesis Orthopaedic and Spine, a multi-specialty Orthopedic, Spine and Sports Medicine practice in West Orange, Westfield, Morristown, Ridgewood, and Middletown NJ, has an exciting opportunity to join our growing family and is seeking a FULL-TIME Medical Billing Representative. Experience working in an Orthopedic or Sports Medicine or Spine office preferred. Additional experience or training on eClinicalWorks EHR/EMR and Waystar and Jopari clearinghouses is a plus.We are a Monday to Friday, 9-5 officeExperience: We prefer to have someone with either Out-Patient or hospital billing experience or a recent graduate of an accredited Billing school in Lieu of experience.Job Description:Knowledge of Medical Billing on commercial, auto accidents, and workers comp payersKnowledge of Medical TerminologyPosting daily revenue paymentsEnsure payments match our contracted rates or fee schedulesContact patients in regards to their balanceAble to record and identify denial codes and reasons whyGenerate weekly reports as requestedHandle patient billing callsAdditional duties as requested by managerBenefits:PTO and Sick daysMedical, Dental & Vision benefits401KPaid Major Holidays offSalary $21-$23 an hour, negotiable based on experience
