BOSTON, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED): A delightful family relocating to Hingham is in search of an energetic, positive FULL-TIME LIVE-IN/LIVE-OUT CHILD CAREGIVER for their two young boys, aged 2.5 years and 3 months. They are looking for a candidate who thrives on activity, enjoys the outdoors, and is adept at creating engaging, age-appropriate activities, primarily for their older child.Experience working with both infants and toddlers will be required.Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine love for childcare are essential. Travel and driving will be integral parts of this role.While the mother will be at home caring for the youngest, the nanny's primary focus will be on the toddler for now, althoughcare for both children in the future will be expected as they hope to have their nanny with them for the long term!He delights in adventures, both indoors and outdoors, so the nanny should be able to match his energy level and enthusiasm! He also enjoys reading, so animated narration would be a welcomed bonus. Some assistance with the younger son will also be required, making experience with infants desirable.The current schedule offers flexibility, typically ranging from 8am/9am to 6pm/7pm, Monday through Friday. Light laundry, household upkeep, and child-related organization will be part of the responsibilities. Meal preparation and cooking for the family would be appreciated. A car will be provided for transportation needs. There are no pets in the home.The start date is July 22nd. Compensation starts at $30+ per hour gross pay, plus any applicable overtime, based on experience. Benefits include paid sick leave, holidays, and vacation, as well as health insurance. All child-related vaccines are mandatory. The possibility of a live-in arrangement may be considered for the right candidate. Please note, position will be in Hingham but interviews or trials may be in a different area of Boston before the family moves.
