Night Spotter (Lighting Outage Night Spotter) Part Time Summary Indigo Signs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lighting Outage Night Spotter to join our new Services team. The primary role for this position is focused on servicing signs and lights in the Twin Cities area. The Night Spotter will be responsible for identifying signage and lighting outages during nighttime hours and generate leads for our Service team. This role is pivotal in expanding our service offerings and enhancing our relationships with existing clients and proactively seeking service-sales opportunities that align with Indigo Signs service initiative. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct nightly inspections of commercial properties to identify signage and lighting outages, document the findings accurately in ERP system, MothernodeGenerate leads for service opportunities based on identified outages and provide detailed reports to the Service ManagerWork closely with the Service Manager to target high-potential accounts, leveraging existing relationships to increase service volume. Maintain an organized log of all observations and leads generated, ensuring accurate data for follow-up actionsReport findings and collaborate with the Service team to ensure timely service deliveryUphold and represent the Indigo Signs brand in all interactions with clients and within the communityPresent and maintain a good driving record. Safely operate all vehicles and promptly report any incidents/infractionsTravel is primarily localized during the nighttime, although out of town travel may be expectedAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codesQualification RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid drivers license Perform tasks involving physical labor on projectsMechanical and/or electrical aptitude skills related to signage and electrification is preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Previous experience in the signage industry or related field preferred; familiarity with sign and lighting systems a plusFamiliarity with the Twin Cities MN area preferredStrong observational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently during nighttime hoursProficient in using mobile devices and basic software applications for reporting and communicationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWilling to work nighttime hours, typically in late evening or early morning; it must be during dark hoursSummaryIndigo Signs is an established company in business for over 20 years, with a focus on providing high quality signage for our customers.
