Richard Alexan MD, Inc. is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in treating neurological conditions for the good people of Kern County. Dr. Alexan has been serving the community since 2004 and has excellent rapport with the medical community.As an advanced practice provider, you will not be expected to know how to treat a wide variety of neurological diseases and conditions, but have a willingness and ability to learn and train. Reading and study will be required for continued success. The job description of a nurse practitioner/ Physician Assistant in our office includes conducting history, physical examinations, interpreting tests and overseeing patients health, including performing nerve blocks, migraine- botulin toxin injections and infusions. Clinical experience in primary care is preferred in application to our specialty. An inquisitive mind to explore differential diagnosis with knowledge based decision making ability is key.As an APP, youll get to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. On average our staff has been together for 7+ years and are very competent and helpful.
