We are seeking individuals in the Chicagoland area who are committed to providing personalized care to those in need.Responsibilities:Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients as needed.Administer medication reminders and assist with medication managementPrepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding if necessary.Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings as required.Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities and observations.Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report concerns to supervisory staff.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure the well-being of clients and oneself.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in caregiving or healthcare preferred.Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field desirable.Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients, families, and team members.Empathy, patience, and compassion towards individuals requiring care.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical ability to lift and maneuver clients, and perform tasks such as bending and standing for extended periods.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.Successful completion of background check and health screenings.At Soulful Hands Home Care, we value our caregivers and provide ongoing support and training.
