Funciones · Prepare breads and pastries, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating. · Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements. · Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. · Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance. · Inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials planning. · Safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances. · Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures. · Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management. · Monitor food quality and portion control throughout the shift. · Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. · Serve as a role model and mentor within the department. · Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security. · Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. · Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance. · Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. · Communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer telephones appropriately. · Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals. · Comply with quality expectations and standards. · Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. · Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. · Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. · Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. · Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.Requisitos· Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree. · Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. · Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required. · License or Certification: None required.Se ofrece· Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. · Opportunity to work at award-winning luxury hospitality properties worldwide. · Professional growth within a global portfolio of brands. · Training and development based on The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards. · Empowering, creative, and collaborative work environment.
