Currently seeking talented part-time therapists and assistants to join your team, specifically focusing on Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTA). Heres a breakdown of responsibilities and expectations for each role:Physical / Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:- Assess patients requiring rehabilitation services, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.- Develop and administer treatment programs with specific goals, under physician direction.- Set realistic goals, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on therapy methods.- Provide evaluations and interventions within legal and ethical boundaries.- Collaborate with patients and other disciplines to establish treatment plans.- Supervise PTAs/OTAs.- Attend patient care and related meetings.Physical Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:- Provide therapy treatments according to established plans under the direction of a PT or OT.- Progress patients through treatment levels safely and effectively.- Communicate with supervising PT/OT about patient progress.- Document all treatments and interactions per clinic policies.- Educate patients on home programs and activities.- Maintain communication with the rehabilitation team.- Maintain productivity standards and pursue professional growth.General Position Details:- Hours: Monday to Friday, varying between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.- Workload: PTs/OTs are needed 1-2 days per week, while PTAs/OTAs are required 5 days per week.- Experience: Accident/Injury treatment experience is preferred.- Salary: All positions are contractual (1099) with negotiable salaries based on experience.If you need further assistance with refining the job descriptions or attracting candidates, feel free to ask!
