Piano Accompanist

Title: PianistReports to: Music DirectorFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hours and Schedule:Generally 3 hours per week plus at-home practice:Sunday Morning Services (2 hours), 9:45 am-11:45 amChoir Practice (1 hour), Thursday, 7:30-8:30pmAt-home practice as neededPlus occasional staff and/or music department meetings (1-2 hrs)Start Date: ASAPCompensation:$50 per hour for Sunday service & choir practice$50 per week for at-home practice$25 per hour for administrative time (i.e. staff meetings) Core CompetenciesPersonal Traits: welcoming, reliable, collaborative, and creativeWork Traits: Able to accompany both hymns and choir, able to play a diversity of musical styles, able to select piano music connected to worship theme and tone, good communication skills, and works well as part of a teamShared Values: Aware of and respectful of Unitarian Universalist values and practices.
