Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher (working with children 2 1/2-3 1/2 years) position is a part time position.- Monday-Friday, 7-1pm.Note - Extra hours may be available if interested in becoming a Substitute within other classrooms (extra hours will not impact current hours for the Long-Term Preschool Teacher position).ResponsibilitiesAssist in lesson plans and activities; follow daily schedule and ratios (1:8)Provide input on each child's developmentEnsure the safety and well-being of the children, providing a pleasant classroom environmentMaintain communication with Lead Teacher and parentsBecome knowledgeable in state licensing standards and policies/procedures of the centerParticipate in staff meetingsComplete 6 Professional Development Training hours, per yearEducation and Experience (Current)Required: minimum High School DiplomaComplete required trainings within first 30 and 90 days of employment* Maintain regular and reliable attendance.* In times of need, employees may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above.
