As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Product Designer to join our team on Places. Places allows people to discover the best places in the world through curated discovery in our iOS app. Places is seeking a talented Product Designer specializing in design systems, brand guidelines and user experience. In this role, you'll work closely with our lead designer to create thoughtful user experiences and maintain a robust design library that ensures consistency and efficiency across our app.Key Responsibilities: Design System & Brand Identity ManagementCreate reusable UI components and patterns that align with our brand identity and user experience goalsMaintain and update the company's design system components, ensuring consistency across Places iOS app Collaborate with lead designer and developers to ensure smooth implementation of design componentsConduct regular audits of the design system to identify areas for improvementStay abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the teamKey Responsibilities: UX/UI SupportCollaborate with lead designer in creating user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypesContribute to product decisions through thoughtful design solutions with product managers and leadership teamsParticipate in ideation sessions and design critiques to enhance overall user experiencesHelp translate complex user needs into simple, intuitive interface designsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field2-4 years of experience in product design or UX/UI designProficiency in design tools such as FigmaStrong understanding of design systems and component-based designExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and a deep understanding of design principles.
