The success of this role will be measured by your ability to optimise product development efficiency and effective product delivery.The Product Operations team focuses on ensuring effective connection and clear communication flows back and forth between Commercial, Solution and Product. As the Product Operations Manager you will act as the catalyst for effective planning and alignment of product development between Product Developers, LXD specialists and our network of associates with subject matter expertise.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving the way people and systems work to provide premium operational delivery of Decoded’s global learning programmes. ACCOUNTABILITIESAs a Product Operations Manager at Decoded, you are accountable for:Learning product logistics and planning: managing, scheduling of our learning productsProduct development, scrum mastery and coaching: working with product developers to plan and deliver projects, facilitating meetings, supporting them to meet deadlines and maintain clarity of progress, remove blockers and adhering to Decoded’s Definition of DoneProcess management and improvement: creating better flow of work and making work more predictable through process improvement and better utilisation of toolsCross functional alignment and communication: reducing friction and troubleshooting across our tech stack working with stakeholders across the businessSPECIFIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESLearning product logistics and planningManage scheduling and logistics of our apprenticeship and commercially funded learning programmes to ensure efficient and robust operational delivery is in place day in, day outBe the operational contact for the facilitation team during sessions should the team need additional supportCreate and prioritise the product development plans as a source of truth for the cross-functional team working on product development and deliverySupport the maintenance of the product content databases across our tech stack, including planning for new products and surfacing gaps in existing documentationWork closely with peers to deliver outstanding operational experiences to learners attending our workshopsOptimising operational processes and resources specific to teaching mode - both in-person and virtual deliveryProduct development Scrum Master coachingAssist with pre-planning & scheduling for upcoming programmes with other stakeholders in the business. Manage product development as scrum master to the teams developing our learning programmesManage the gathering & communication of information to optimise delivery timelines for our customers, working in partnership with Product solution lead Facilitate team discussion to effectively problem solve and plan collaboratively to ensure learning programme development stays on target for delivery timelinesOrganise, facilitate and document key development team touch points as a scrum master to unblock, progress and enhance the successful development of learning programmesSetting a tone of over-communication between the product development team to ensure effective collaboration and escalation issues where appropriateProcess management and improvementHighlight places for process improvements and champion initiatives to implement best practices for product operations including our tech stack using a digital-first approachExplore SaaS platform functionality to utilise the potential in our current operational solutionsSKILLS & BEHAVIOURSYour performance will be measured by and driven by a mindset built on: Striving for excellence in everything you do. This team is part of the Global Product Team.DAY TO DAYOur working hours are from 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday. You plan your working day around the best outcomes for success, identifying and prioritising projects against business needs. We have recently moved into a fully remote working model. In-person team days such as workshops, training days and social events are organised for teams to spend time together on an occasional basis.BENEFITSApart from the above, working at Decoded means you’ll get:33 days* leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) and extra tenured holiday enabling team members to gain an additional day for every year you are with us (after the first 2 years) up to a maximum of 8.
