Ops Technician Production AssistantPosted: 2024Title: Ops Technician - Production KFNXJob Description and Responsibilities:KFNX Radio is expanding its operations and programming staff and has an immediate opening for a highly motivated professional. A Full Time talk radio production and board technician needed to record, edit and produce radio commercials, and radio shows for AM talk radio station. 1100 KFNX is Arizonas Fastest Growing Radio Station: The new home of the CBS Radio Network, and Arizona Wildcats sports, plus many of the biggest names in Talk. KFNX covers the entire Phoenix metro area, and beyond.Job Tasks include: recording audio commercials, interviews, and shows, running engineer board also when needed: running live / recorded shows, answering phones, assisting hosts. Other duties could include: voiceover work, extra production, loading and editing radio shows / commercials - radio related paperwork and affidavits, attending staff meetings, and other internal office reporting.Comprehensive education and training will be provided by management.Qualifications:Applicant must have technical skills, running an audio board for live formats, recording of both live and studio audio, audio & effects editing comprehension, plus standard industry editing programs proficiency, and computer knowledge (including Internet, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.). Video production / editing and Social Media skills a bonus, but not necessary to applyCandidates should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, be organized, and communicate well on-air and in written form. A car in working order, car insurance, and a valid drivers license is not required, but preferred.
