Job Title: Master Scheduler Telling IndustriesCompany Description: TELLING Industries is a full line manufacturer of premium metal framing and accessories. TELLING Industries owns and operates three manufacturing facilities located in Cambridge, OH, and Osceola, AR and Windsor, CT. Each location is equipped with state-of-the-art roll forming machinery, large industrial slitters as well as metal breaks & shearing equipment. Having a full complement of capabilities at each location enables TELLING to better service our customers with a full line of products at all of our locations.TELLING is proud to be American owned and operated.This is a full-time position that offers excellent compensation and benefits.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the production schedule to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather production requirements and forecast demand.Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes and minimize waste.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.Generate reports and provide regular updates on production status, capacity utilization, and material availability.Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review production plans, address issues, and make adjustments as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of production planning, demand planning, and inventory control principles.Proficient in using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and software.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Preferred Skills:Experience with forecasting techniques to predict future demand accurately.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.Join our dynamic team as a Master Scheduler!
