Dirt Dawg Excavating is looking for a Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. This position provides support to our Project Manager, Field Superintendent, Foremen, and the other field personnel involved in the day-to-day completion of our projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of projects by providing administrative and project-related assistance.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, organize, and maintain digital files including plans, specifications, correspondence, subcontracts, and miscellaneous project documentation.Download and organize plans, specs, and proposals from websites for upcoming projects.Solicit bids from suppliers and subcontractors to create proposals containing bid forms and collect other necessary documents to satisfy bid instructions.Prepare project bid packages and attend bid openings.Create, edit, and proof documents, correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials using programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Create project setup forms and project files and coordinate the execution of internal and field checklists. Assist in the development of project schedules Execute underground utility safe dig requests for sites (OUPS)Support Project Manager, Superintendent, and Field Foremen to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.Assist with other project management support tasks as needed. Maintain the companys social media account and web site. Key QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Valid Ohio Drivers License Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screeningDirt Dawg Excavating is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
