What you’ll do with us: Our Project Managers primarily work with state and/or local governments who use our software. As a Project Manager with KinderSystems, you will be responsible for total management of all assigned projects, including implementation, management of integration, scope, timeline, cost, revenue, quality, communications, documentation, and risk, to ensure overall long-term customer satisfaction. Assist with the planning, execution, management, and closing of projects with assigned customers Responsible for maintaining project documentation. This includes: Draft and update the project plan Draft and maintain project schedule using MS Project Maintain the project budget and report on any variances Obtain and document critical sign-off of major milestones Ensure that revenue collection occurs upon sign-off of milestones, and assist Finance on any customer issues related to accounting Provide and maintain reports to internal and external customers Manages customer communications related to service requests or change orders, working with the product manager on the collection of requirements, writing of functional requirements, obtaining development estimates, establishing pricing, and customer approval processes. Ensures that service requests and work performed fall into the contracted scope of work. If requests outside the scope of work occur (like emergency support, regardless of culpability), create change requests for approval and invoicing. Reconcile and resolve any discrepancies between standard products and applicable contractual requirements. Serve as the main point of contact with customers on assigned projects. This includes: Serve as liaison between Product, Development, and customer Provide direct support to customers Providing status reports Onsite customer visits during the sales (in some cases), deployment, and maintenance phases of assigned projects Attend and document design sessions Document all customer communications in writing Track and report internal and customer-facing KPIs Assists the Support department in tracking customer issues, making regular customer contacts, collecting customer surveys, and maintaining measurable customer satisfaction metrics. Who you are: 2-4+ years experience as a project manager. A strategic thinker with a proven track record in successfully delivering complex SaaS software implementation projects to state agencies or similar public sector organizations. Extraordinary professionalism, written and verbal communication skills. You understand how to engage effectively with diverse audiences, fostering positive relationships and facilitating open dialogue. Off the chart attention to detail, you live in spreadsheets and MS Project. Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize, think critically and shift gears as needed. You enjoy troubleshooting and diving into details to untangle complex problems. Formal project management training is preferred, specifically Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute.
