We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our high-performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, coupled with leadership experience or the ability to drive quality initiatives across development teams. As a key player, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting testing strategies, and guiding best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual Testing:
Execute comprehensive manual test cases to identify bugs and ensure functional correctness of the product.
Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
Perform regression, integration, and acceptance testing on various platforms.
Automation Testing:
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of an automated test suite to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing.
Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Quality Leadership:
Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
Ensure test coverage across multiple projects while managing deadlines and resources.
Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
Participate in defect triage meetings and coordinate with development teams to resolve bugs and issues.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team, regularly reviewing processes and recommending optimizations.
Reporting & Documentation:
Document and track bugs, test results, and metrics to provide insights into the product's quality and test coverage.
Generate and present reports on test progress, test coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure thorough documentation of testing strategies, processes, and scripts for ongoing and future reference.
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, software testing standards, and the software development cycle, including: test automation, test design, test execution analysis and reporting
Demonstrated experience developing high-quality test plans
Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to convey technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
Creative problem-solving abilities, with a deep-seated drive to find ways to make things easier
Ability to manage time between tasks and prioritize as necessary
SQL database skills
Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C# and Java
Ability to write automated test cases using Selenium, Cucumber or any other automation framework
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in all phases of software testing
Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test scripts.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript) to develop test scripts.
Experience writing test automation using automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress and etc)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar for automated testing.
Experience in performance and load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
