Radiation Therapist

Radiation Therapist NeededOur healthcare client in Lewiston, ID, is seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist. The ideal candidate will be an ARRT Registered Therapist responsible for administering radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This role involves interacting with a diverse group of individuals, including cancer patients, physicians, nurses, patients' families, and colleagues. Requirements:Current Basic Life Support (BLS)Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation TherapistMust have knowledge of department functions, how and why radiation therapy is used, and be able to explain this to nurses, physicians, Medical Center staff, and the publicStrong interpersonal and communication skills are essential with patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.Preferred, but not required:Prior experience in a Radiation Oncology DepartmentFull Benefits and Sign-on bonus are offered.
