Respiratory Therapist

Mill Plain Medical is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team providing DME services for our Respiratory Care patients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review medical documentation to determine patient's condition and treatment protocolsConfigure positive airway pressure (PAP) devices, perform mask fittings, and educate patients regarding PAP therapy and use of equipment and supplies.Answer and return phone calls from established patients, provide continuing support and troubleshoot to maximize patient adherence to therapy.Provide patient instruction for sleep related needs including but not limited to; correct use of PAP therapy, mask fittings, follow up instructions, scheduling procedures and compliance requirements.Maintain patient records and confidentialityInspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating conditionsAssist with patient scheduling as needed.Performs other duties as required.ABOUT YOU:Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy and registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.Registered Respiratory Therapy LicenseStrong verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; problem-solving; and time management skills.BENEFITS:401 (k) matchingOn-the-job trainingPaid holidaysPaid time offWe are a locally owned and operated business with a fun, and positive team that prides ourselves on personalized care for our patients.
