SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is currently looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to administer and implement commission plans for the sales organization. You will work closely with finance, sales, and HR leaders to identify and resolve issues, as well as play a key role in providing analysis on sales performance that will assist in the development of the sales commission plans.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Ensure timely commission submission within specified deadlines
Work closely with sales operations, finance, sales and HR leaders to identify and resolve issues, as well as play a key role in providing analysis on sales performance that will assist in the development of the sales commission plans
Own and manage the overall monthly commissions process for our Sales teams, including operational processes, policies, and plans
Calculate, obtain approval, and distribute commission statements on a monthly basis
Support any commission calculation-related inquiries and exceptions, including disputes and help drive timely resolution
Work with Sales Operations to ensure the improvement of systems to effectively manage commissions
Calculate accruals and prepare JEs at months end
Review, analyze and adjust transactions for accuracy based on the sales commission guidelines
Provide Finance and Sales leadership with accurate attainment reporting, trends on manager and rep performance and commissions
Manage commission/sales credits as the need arises
Maintain up to date documentation of our policies and processes to ensure the company’s compensation philosophy, strategy and offerings are well understood
Answer all questions related to commissions in a timely manner
Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials to assist with on-boarding new sales talent
Assist the Sales Operations management with Salesforce reporting, documentation of best practices and maintenance of data
Review and validate customer data as collected, ensuring the integrity of data collection and utilization
Ad hoc reporting and projects
Willingness to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need to be Successful
BS/BA degree or equivalent working experience in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
2+ years working within a sales commissions, finance, accounting or operations role
1-3 years experience in reporting analytical data preferably in Salesforce.com
Strong analytical skills, including advanced use of Excel
Ability to multitask while managing deadlines, to perform well under pressure, and work cross functionally across different teams and departments
Experience using a commissions tool is a plus (Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Callidus, etc.)
Self-motivated with minimal supervision who can take on additional responsibilities
Analytical and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis
Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively, and strong attention to detail
