Job Purpose
The Product Specialist, Math supports and collaborates on new customer needs and sales opportunities. The Product Specialist functions as the voice of the product on the Sales team, supporting Sales with product area questions, RFP submissions, and product trainings for the sales team. The Product Specialist is a liaison between the Product and Sales teams.
This role is an exciting opportunity for anyone with deep Great Minds Math product knowledge and with a passion for high-quality, knowledge-building curriculum and the belief that every child is capable of greatness. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a deadline intensive environment and the drive to innovate while remaining committed to the Great Minds’ organizational mission. While the work is remote and the ideal candidate will work well independently, this will also be a highly collaborative position, necessitating a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation.
Responsibilities
Assess RFP and State Adoption submissions for Great Minds math products providing content area support and knowledgeEstablish and write crosswalks and complete rubrics related to RFPs to determine if our products meet the RFP and State Adoption deliverablesSupport RFP team and process for Great Minds Math ProductsEvaluate and analyze state math standards and requirements to meet sales and RFP opportunities for Great Minds math productsSupport Sales team with Great Minds math product questions serving as a resource of content and pedagogy knowledge to support sales opportunitiesServes as the product expert on the Sales teamLeads trainings for Sales team on product features and benefitsCollaborate with product and sales teams to provide internal product trainingFoster a healthy, strong team culture that values humility, feedback, and alignment to Great Minds mission, including knowledge-building and high-quality instructional materialsRequirements
3+ years of experience working in the K-12 education market with a deep focus and deep expertise in High Quality math curriculum. Deep knowledge of how Great Minds’ Eureka Math products align to market demand.Deep respect for and alignment to the philosophy, instructional design, and pedagogy of Great Minds’ knowledge-building vision  Excellent stakeholder management skills, sales team, content development teams, software engineers, and sales leadership that require a sophisticated level of sensitivity and excellent judgment Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills to anticipate challenges, issues, or opportunities  Ability to work on cross functional teams with a collaborative approach, equally comfortable talking content development with writers, tech with developers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with product marketers. Demonstrated experience providing coaching and feedback to support the development of others
Strong organizational habits to ensure successful goal achievement and timely contributions to decision making
Outstanding capacity to handle precise and detail-oriented work
Ability to problem solve to create high-quality products by established deadlines
Proficiency with technology and comfortable learning new applications
Facility working with tools required within digital spaces (e.g. Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, InCopy, MS Office 365 and Google suite)

The expected base salary range for this position is $69,000-$75,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
