In five years, we've raised over 300 million euros in funding and helped people reclaim more than two billion euros.Your challenge: As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Taxfix, your mission will be to lead the development and enhancement of our data models, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient to drive our analytical applications. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, empowering our teams to make informed decisions. This involves not only owning the data models within your domain but also contributing to the broader evolution of Analytics Engineering at Taxfix.Your team: Our Analytics Teams at Taxfix work with a clear domain focus. Our three teams—Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, and Business Intelligence—consist of a mix of Analysts and Analytics Engineers.Our Analytics Engineers operate in a decentralized way within their mission-focused teams. To drive collaboration, improve best practices, and facilitate learning, we have established an Analytics Engineering Guild where all Analytics Engineers can work together.Our tech stack includes Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Segment.io, Airflow, Airbyte, Looker, Mixpanel, and various other tools.We are looking for a pragmatic problem solver who thrives on getting things done. You should be able to advocate for and improve data modeling best practices while working with Snowflake and dbt. Collaboration with Analysts is essential, so you should enjoy working closely with others and be passionate about education and enablement.Your responsibilities: Understand business users’ needs through structured requirements gathering.Design complex, high-quality, and efficient data models using dimensional modeling, ensuring they are long-lasting and future-proof.Create efficient and scalable data pipelines with dbt, supported by excellent documentation.Implement actionable data quality checks.Support and maintain existing BI solutions, resolving bugs as they arise.Take full ownership of your projects, from idea generation and requirement gathering to successful implementation.Set standards and regularly exchange knowledge and best practices with your colleagues.Your profile: 4+ years of experience in building DWH products, creating code-based ETL, and BI developments with strong DWH modeling skills.Strong SQL skills are essential.Advanced experience with dbt (cloud or core) for data modeling.Experience with cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery) and BI solutions (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Mixpanel). Orchestration solutions (Airflow, Jenkins) are a plus.Highly proficient in implementing data quality standards and developing robust data monitoring frameworks.Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and simply.Strong business acumen and a strategic approach to reporting and stakeholder management across different business domains.Why Taxfix?
