We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back everyday, but it does feel good :)The RoleLead the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that transform clinical, operational, and financial data into actionable insights. This role combines technical expertise with healthcare domain knowledge to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements.The job role might also require you to learn new tools and technologies fast, and you should have in-depth database knowledge as well as basic programming and scripting skills. You will help to build efficient and stable data pipelines which can be easily maintained in the future. You should have expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing ETL/ ELTGather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that’s geared towards the needs of end usersTake over responsibilities for developing and maintaining Prompt’s Business Intelligence PlatformEnable Prompt’s BI platform to support third party data ingestion and third party data extractionMake contributions towards Prompt’s overall data modelMaintain and improve already existing processesEnsure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainableWork with the business in designing and delivering correct, high quality dataInvestigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutionsPrepare documentation for future referenceParticipate in code reviews and architecture discussions to exchange actionable feedback with peersContribute to engineering best practices and mentor junior team membersHelp break down complex projects and requirements into sprintsAbility to create insightful dashboards and present findings to internal and external stakeholdersSkills10+ YOE working with cloud based databases, data lakes, data warehouses (S3, RDS, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift etc.)Expert SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structureKnowledge of data modeling principlesOrganizational skills: time management and planningKnowledge of at least one ETL/ data transformation framework/ service (AWS Glue, Data Build Tool (dbt))Basic understanding of CI/CD process and systems (Gitlab Pipelines, Github Actions, etc.)Version control with Git using branching strategies and feature flagsGood working knowledge of Docker and how to build reusable images for development and production useExperience with at least one backend programming language: Python/Java/Go/Ruby/PHP/etcKnowledge of various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms and Big Data technologiesHigh attention to detailPassionate about complex data structures, problem solving and ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quicklyPerks - What you can expect:Competitive salariesRemote/hybrid environmentPotential equity compensation for outstanding performanceFlexible PTOCompany-wide sponsored lunchesCompany paid disability and life insurance benefitsCompany paid family and medical leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance benefitsDiscounted pet insuranceFSA/DCA and commuter benefits401k
