(Trilogy) is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support a large Federal agency’s data analytics needs.Primary Responsibilities: Assist in conducting comparative, trend, and predictive analysis of a variety of data and prepare comprehensive reports of the analysis that are useful in decision-making, and communicationMust possess skillsets to work with large and complex data sets, multiple sources, and changing requirementsDesign multi-dimensional systems using SSAS’s star schema that create simplicity in accessing diverse data to perform efficient and fast analysis on large amounts of data, uncover trends and make timelier, better-informed decisions. The designs must be flexible to accept data from multiple data sources with varying structures and compatible with existing sources and structuresBuild reports using Power BI from the OLAP multi-dimensional databasesAdept at working with various data management systems and assist in designing scalable automated reporting processes that can deliver high quality reports efficiently and consistently Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree8+ years of related experience working in a federal consulting environmentThe ability to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceDetailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and their features/functionsExperience with the following: Power BI, SQL/PL SQL, Database design and ETL (data extraction, transform, and load), and an understanding of big data conceptsStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skillsExperience with creating executive-level documentation and reportsGeneral understanding of IT System Development Life Cycle and Agile conceptsPossesses a solid understanding of IT architecture conceptsAbility to interface well with end-users and senior client stakeholdersAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environmentDetail-oriented consulting approach, with client-service focusSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and within a teamPreferred Qualifications: Possesses an advanced degree or credential (e.g., BIDA) in data analytics or business intelligenceExperience with TableauVA or VHA experienceExperience with or general understanding of VA data analytic platforms, repositories, or toolsBenefits (including but not limited to):Health, dental, and vision plansOptional FSAPaid parental leave Safe Harbor 401(k) with employer contributions 100% vested from day 1Paid time off and 11 paid holidaysNo cost group term life/AD&D plan, and optional supplemental coveragePet insuranceMonthly phone and internet stipendTuition and training reimbursementRegarding remote positions, Trilogy Federal is able to offer virtual employment in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New York, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.Trilogy Federal is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
