Senior DevOps Engineer

GAMING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL Seedworld Studios is looking for a talented and experienced DevOps engineer to join one of the most unique UGC platforms in the games industry. You should have a strong knowledge of infrastructure, automation and experience setting up infrastructure and processes in the game development industry.Responsibilities:-Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and efficient CI/CD pipeline for Unreal Engine projects-Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate development cycles-Crash reporting tools-Integrate version control systems (Perforce) into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless tracking and management of code changes.-Implement and manage artifact repositories for storing and versioning build artifacts and dependencies.-Automate deployment processes for Unreal Engine applications to various environments, including staging and production.-Implement blue-green deployments and canary releases to minimize downtime and risk.-Set up monitoring tools to track the performance of the CI/CD pipeline.-Continuously optimize and improve the CI/CD workflow for speed, reliability, and efficiency-Interfaces to publisher or first parties systems (e.g. uploading builds, querying data, …)Nice to have:-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.-Several years of experience in DevOps, build engineering or related fields, ideally in the games industry-Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine and its development workflow.-Experience with CI/CD tools(TeamCity, Cloud DevOps)-Scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.-Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.-Experience with frameworks such as Agones, Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer and Helmfile.Team Structure:You will be an integral part of a DevOps engineering team, working closely with other DevOps engineers and the game development team.Location:100% remotePreferences to APAC and EMEA locationsBenefits:-21 days of holidays / year + local bank holidays.-Sick days.-Budget for training / courses.-Budget towards purchasing work equipment such as laptop.
