Thanks to their partnership, our current valuation has reached $2.5 billion.Helping develop practices and processes that help Spring Health speed up and automate aspects of developing, testing, releasing and updating software will enable the engineering team to grow and support primary business functions. This role will be a leader in the development operations pod.
What you’ll be doing:

Develop CI/CD pipelines across many architectures in order to assist releasing and ensuring code quality.
Working closely with developers to improve workflows
Work closely with SecOps to add guardrails that limit risks and ensure secure solutions
Identify latency and observability gaps and work with developers to fill in these gaps
Ensure our current environments are set up in accordance with best practices
Build and improve automation for building new environments
Evaluations that our tools are necessary and utilized effectively for their associated costs
Ensuring that our stack is storing PHI in a compliant and consistent manner
Improving our infrastructure and best practices to be FedRamp compliant

What success looks like in this role:

Working with the team to improve processes by building automation to reduce manual steps
Work on operational tickets to help share the operational burden across the team
Contribute to brainstorming and design of new features and architecture
Collaborate across teams and organizations to implement and improve best practices

What we expect from you:

4+ years working on a Development Operations team
Have worked with infrastructure as code technologies (terraform, cloudformation)
Major cloud provider experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience in scripting languages
Technical documentation about upcoming changes, rationale, and process for migration
Work on tooling around CI/CD infrastructure including SAST and DAST pipeline integration
Experience in one or more development operations teams
Focus on operational consistency and best practices when deploying new infrastructure or re-architecting existing services

The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $194,150, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
