The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in branding, graphic design, video editing, animation, and motion graphics.Responsibilities:Brand Development: including logo design, brand expression, and brand book creationVideo editing and animation: producing walk-through videos, advertising videos, character animations, and moreCreation of still images for various platformsGraphic design: developing banners, infographics, and brochuresIllustration and creative projects: crafting storyboards, storytelling, and innovative conceptsManage multiple projects with diverse strategies and aestheticsEffective teamwork and communicationCollaborate with team members, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutionsStay up-to-date with the latest trends in branding, video editing, and design technologiesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a multimedia designerStrong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)Experience in branding, including logo design, brand development, and creating brand booksExpertise in motion graphics and video editing (character animations, advertising videos, etc.)Ability to create high-quality still images, infographics, and digital content for various platformsExcellent knowledge of storytelling, illustration, and creative thinking for visual projectsExperience working on cross-disciplinary teams and managing communication across different departmentsStrong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneouslyUnderstanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles for effective visual communicationAbility to work with tight deadlines and adapt to different design aesthetics and project strategiesAttention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingFluent in design software and ability to adapt to new technologies quicklyPreferred Qualifications:Experience using AI-powered design tools for animation, graphic design, and video editing (e.g., MidJourney, Adobe Firefly)Experience with CapCut or other mobile-first video editing toolsKnowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) for creating 3D animations and rendersFamiliarity with modern video formats for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)Understanding of motion design for web and interactive digital experiences Experience with web design tools and responsive media creation Knowledge of marketing principles and how to create content that aligns with branding and advertising strategiesExperience in overseeing and mentoring junior designersFamiliarity with project management tools for tracking deadlines and deliverablesEnglish language skills are desirable but not mandatory
Compensation: CAD $1,000 - $1,500Additional InformationThis offer is an agreement for services as a Contractor with a competitive fee set in CAD.
