Requirements:
8+ years of commercial experience
Expertise in Linux and network engineering with a focus on security and DDoS mitigation
Strong knowledge of packet filtering using iptables, nftables, or pf, including hardware offloading for rule management (e.g., utilizing Intel DPDK)
Proven experience in building DDoS mitigation solutions, specifically at L3/L4, with the potential L7
Hands-on experience with leveraging x86 hardware for implementing firewall and filtering rules
Fluent in written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a DDoS mitigation solution, focusing on packet filtering and scrubbing architecture
Utilize iptables/nftables/pf to manage and offload rules to hardware effectively
Focus on implementing L3/L4 packet filtering, with future opportunities to work on L7
Apply deep knowledge of x86 hardware to optimize firewall and filtering capabilities within the network infrastructure
