Reporting to the Director, Product Analytics, this analyst will work on projects directly with the Product Analytics team and executives across the company on our web platform while also playing an integral part in improving our current product and guiding the focus of our future product development and marketing efforts.
How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:

Support A/B/n and multivariate testing efforts, by reporting on testing results and ensuring analysis provided are statistically sound
Run ad-hoc requests in collaboration with product management to find actionable insights that drive product strategy
Work cross-team to build web analytics tagging in order to ensure web behavioral engagement tracking is in place as products launch and evolve.
Create dashboards and presentations to help the Product team stay on top of the various KPIs that are critical to product health and growth of the company
Work with Product Analytics lead and Business Intelligence to create simple, dependable data pipelines, automate reporting and dashboards to surface key metrics, and answer tagging/raw data related questions to assist in generating stakeholders’ reports

Your Expertise:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics or a related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics or a related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related position.
2+ years' work experience in an analytics-related field
2+ years' experience with SQL query writing and high-level understanding of raw clickstream data structures
2+ years' experience in Data Visualization/Report/Dashboard development (i.e Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Ability to conduct analysis with an analytic tool (i.e Python, R, Advanced Excel).
Experience working with Microsoft Office and G-suite tools
Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, and investigative skills
Exhibit intellectual curiosity and an ability to synthesize large amounts of data to create actionable product insights and executive presentations
Solid communication and storytelling skills
Familiar with common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, significance testing, sample sizing)
Structured thinking, ability to self-manage, and advanced problem-solving skills
Familiar with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc

Base salary range: $79,000 to $105,000Your TrueCar Experience
