Position Overview:
Atwell is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States. This senior-level role combines strategic project management with high-level client engagement, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery. As a Senior Project Manager, you will guide a talented team of engineers and designers, leveraging expertise in PVSyst and other modeling software to deliver high-quality power generation solutions. You will also play a pivotal role in advancing Atwell’s renewable energy mission, supporting projects in Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and final delivery
Serve as the primary client liaison at a senior level, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
Lead and mentor a team of technical engineers and designers, guiding them through the design process and supporting them in utilizing PVSyst and other advanced modeling software
Strategically manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to maintain efficiency and meet project timelines
Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with client and organizational objectives
Provide thought leadership in the renewable energy sector, contributing to Atwell’s initiatives in Solar, Wind, and BESS, and sharing best practices across teams
Identify and mitigate project risks, providing innovative solutions to complex challenges as they arise

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; advanced degree preferred
Extensive experience managing utility-scale Solar PV projects, with a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes
Strong background in client-facing roles, adept at managing high-level client relationships across multiple projects
Proficiency in PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and developing technical teams
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple projects effectively
