What will you do as Senior Sales Executive?
Product Expertise and Customer Engagement: Sales Executives are expected to become experts on OXLA's product offerings. They conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers to showcase the capabilities and advantages of Oxla's solutions.
Advisory Role: They act as trusted advisors to clients, helping them understand how Oxla's platform can meet their data management and analytics needs. This involves understanding the client's business challenges and aligning Oxla's solutions to address those challenges.
Sales Strategy and Execution: The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals.
Consumption-Based Selling: Given that Oxla operates on a consumption-based pricing model, Sales Executives focus on selling "capacity" that clients use for data storage or running compute engines. Their compensation may be based on capacity growth or actual consumption by clients.
Market Positioning and Competition: Sales Executives must navigate a competitive landscape where Oxla competes with other data platform providers like Databricks, Snowflake, and Clickhouse. They need to articulate Oxla's unique value proposition effectively to win new business.
What is a must-have to do the job effectively?
7+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS or related industry in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region or Nordic countries
English C2 and German C2 (native) or Swedish (native)
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment
Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude
Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships
What will be nice to have that you can bring to the table?
5+ years in a Major/Strategic Account Executive (or equivalent) role is preferred
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required at a University in DACH or Nordic countries.
Experience in database (SQL & NoSQL), ETL, or business intelligence is preferred
Experience implementing MEDDPICC (a sales methodology)
Experience selling software or cloud-based applications to enterprises
Ability to provide open, honest, and respectful feedback, creating an inclusive work environment
Proven track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement
Demonstrable experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies and tactics
Experience selling technical solutions and software products to enterprise markets
Familiarity with data warehousing, business intelligence, data science, and/or AI/ML
