Company DescriptiondxFeed is the leading provider of data services for the Capital Markets industry, sourcing and storing direct market data feeds from a variety of exchanges and market participants around the world, having built one of the most comprehensive ticker plants, in addition to offering the broadest range of data services for streaming, consolidation, storage, extraction, analytics, including index construction and maintenance for buy-side and sell-side institutions of the global financial industry.We are looking for an experienced Senior SRE Engineer to join the team.Job DescriptionWe expect Senior SRE Engineer to:design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems across multiple platforms and environmentslead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem evaluations, driving continuous improvementsdevelop advanced automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and auto-scalingengage in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning, utilizing cutting-edge technologiesspearhead architectural decisions, technology selection, and strategic planning across projects or business unitsconduct comprehensive security assessments and implement robust security measuresmentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teamsbe active on the assistance for developers, participation in DevOps activitiesinstall, manage, integrate and evolve in-house developed and external monitoring systemscommunicate with clients and partner companies’ engineers on technical and architecture design subjectsQualificationsRequirements:5+ years of experience in automation, IaaC, SaaC, cloud-based automated deploymentsexperience in Amazon AWS and other cloudsin-depth knowledge of TCP/IP stackenhanced understanding of networking (routing, switching, IP, TCP, UDP, VPN, DNS)Gitlab, Ansible, etc in-depth experienceCI/CD and DevOps activities experienceproficiency in shell script languages: awk, perl, or otherspreferred experience in cluster technologies and high availability systemsexperience in solving complex problems and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslystrong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skillsproduction systems support experiencegood written and spoken English languageAdditional skills considered an advantage:understanding high-performance, high-throughput and low-latency network technologiesexperience with CDN architecturesexperience with WAN technologiesexperience with Trading/Exchange/Risk management software usage and managementexperience in working with Tomcat, Apache, nginx, haproxy webserversexperience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)Additional InformationAdditional informationCare for the employees is one of dxFeed core values.
