Shipping Associate

General Duties. Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products. Job Responsibilities:Track, control and prepare for production, all inventory.Receive all incoming goods by performing physical counts, verify against paperwork/packing list, and enter the information into software system and pass along to inspection.Package and ship all outgoing sales orders.Place incoming inventory parts to the proper inventory bin, or onto production.Perform all picks for production and stage accordingly.Perform or supervise cycle counts and year end inventory counts as applicable.Perform all necessary computer work in software system for all in-house production work and stage to the next level in the production process.Request any outside processes that require a purchase order.Perform inventory adjustmentsPerform any additional work that the Production Manager may need.
