You will serve as our local knowledge resource for navigating Spain's regulatory landscape, public sector processes, and institutional relationships. Job Title: Spain Government Affairs Consultant Company: Halderon & Company Location: Remote (Spain-based candidates preferred) Contract Type: Independent Consulting Contract (Part-Time) Key Responsibilities: · Provide strategic advice on Spanish government regulations, administrative procedures, and public policy developments relevant to our business. · Support outreach to Spanish public institutions and government bodies as needed. · Monitor and report on policy changes, legislation, and regulatory developments in Spain. · Conduct research and prepare analytical reports on government policies, regulatory trends, and public sector developments. · Identify potential regulatory risks and opportunities that may impact business operations in Spain. · Provide practical insights into public procurement processes and administrative procedures when required.Requisitos· Bachelor's degree or above is required. · Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred. · Relevant background or practical experience in the Spanish public sector, government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, public administration, or related fields is preferred. · Strong understanding of Spanish administrative processes, public procurement, and regulatory environment is highly valued. · Existing professional network within Spanish government institutions, public agencies, municipalities, or regulatory bodies is a plus. · Ability to conduct independent policy and regulatory research and produce high-quality written reports. · Fluent English is required; Spanish native proficiency is strongly preferred. · Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. · Able to work independently in a remote and flexible environment. · Prior consulting, advisory, legal, public affairs, or government relations experience is advantageous.Se ofreceCompensation & Working Style: · Compensation is report-based. · Payment per report: 300,00 EUR – 1.500,00 EUR. Higher-quality, more in-depth, and higher-impact reports receive higher compensation. · Long-term cooperation opportunities available for consistently high-performing consultants. · Working Style: Fully remote. · Schedule: No fixed working hours; output and deliverables matter most.
