We are a pre-launch company backed by Atomic VC, focused on building a differentiated B2B Fintech product. After conducting extensive user and industry research, we’ve built an MVP and are gearing up for a Platform launch to early adopters.
We're looking for our first operations hire, reporting directly to the CEO, to join as a Senior Operations Manager. This person will be the catalyzer for the vision of the company - driving consistency on how we operate as a business. This person will be the glue between leadership, working very closely with finance, product, sales, and marketing to implement processes as we begin to scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Play an instrumental role in how the business will grow and scale by partnering with the CEO to help lead leading vision, strategy, and results for company-wide operations
- Direct day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring all teams and initiatives are running smoothly and efficiently
- Lead the strategy and execution of new company initiatives and product launches within the fintech space
- Partner with other leaders across the company (including Finance, GTM, Product/Technology) in developing forward-looking company strategy
- Develop a robust KPI goal setting & reporting process to evaluate the company’s ability to meet targets, optimize performance, achieve customer satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and lead all regulation-related matters including managing counsel and any lobbying efforts
- Other cost cutting initiatives including vendor management
What You Have:
- 5-8+ years of experience launching new products within highly regulated markets (ideally payments or fintech) in addition to consulting background
- Constantly questioning the status quo and believe there is always a way to continuously improve
- Ability to execute on today's challenges while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset around where we'll be six months, a year, and several years from now
- Experience leading successful implementation of strategic operational projects to completion while successfully managing stakeholders, including C-suite
- A demonstrable passion for building consumer-quality digital products; beloved for their elegance and simplicity of use
- Strong working knowledge of operational compliance and a strong understanding of Risk and Regulation frameworks
- Persuasive communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and are capable of presenting complex information in an easy to understand format
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work with the team at all levels, thriving in a highly collaborative remote work environment and start-up culture
- Comfortable with digital communication and productivity skills (Slack, Notion, Zoom, etc.)
We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
