Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our team. This rolewill play a vital part in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting, andassisting with day-to-day financial operations. If you are organized, comfortable withaccounting software, and enjoy working in a flexible environment, we’d love to hear fromyou!Daily Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales,receipts, and payments.Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track receivables, and ensure timelypayment of bills.Bank and Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financialaccounts on a monthly basis.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial statements,balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.Expense Tracking: Record, categorize, and monitor business expenses for tax purposes.Tax Compliance: Support the preparation of documents for tax filings and ensureadherence to relevant regulations.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses asneeded.General Ledger Maintenance: Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in thegeneral ledger.Support Year-End Close: Help with year-end accounting procedures, includingreconciliations and audits.RequirementsQualifications:Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or in a similar role.Proficiency in Quickbooks, Bill.com, Expensify, and/or similar accounting software.Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience in small business bookkeeping.Knowledge of payroll systems and tax filing procedures.Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.BenefitsWorking RemoteHealthcare, Dental & Vision coverage401k with company contributionPTOOpportunity to make a significant impact in a growing companyProfessional development and growth opportunitiesAbout the companyRevv is a fundraising platform with a feature set designed specifically for marketing and consulting agencies or multi-chapter organizations.
