POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for helping manage the AccountsReceivable team and overseeing accurate financial statement information.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and post weekly AR clinic batches to Oracle Cloud ERP (Invoices, Payments, Credit Memos, and Debit Memos)Review and post daily ASP batches to Oracle Cloud ERPReview and approve refund requests through JiraWork closely with sales, billing and customer service departments to ensure accurate billing and payment application, as well as timely resolution of any discrepanciesAssist with month-end and year-end processes, including preparation or review of balance sheet account reconciliations and creating or reviewing corresponding journal entriesAssist with audit sample selectionsSupervise, train and mentor accounts receivable staffMaintain accurate records and underlying support of all receivable transactionsAssist in reviewing, developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiencyMonitor and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and potential issuesRegularly review accounts for past due balances and escalate to collections or sales to reduce risk of non-collectionCollaborate with other departments to improve overall financial performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant laws and regulationsThis role works with PHI (Patient Information) on a regular basis both in paper and electronic formMaintain and document AR processes and proceduresAdhere to SOX Compliance within the departmentEmployee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and Security as soon as possible, but not later than the first 30 days of hire and must maintain a current status on Company training requirements at all timesPossible overtime required around month, quarter and year-end closingQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field with a publicly traded company preferredPrevious supervisory experience is requiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent leadership and team management skillsProficiency in Google Suite preferredAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyThe pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
