Systems Administrators at Array are responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Windows and VMware environments, supporting both on-premises and cloud systems. You will manage server configurations, virtualized environments, and ensure system reliability across our infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on expert who can troubleshoot complex system issues, implement security protocols, and support both physical and virtual servers. Your work will play a key role in ensuring the stability and scalability of our growing IT operations. This is a contract position reporting directly to our SRE manager.
You Have:

Proven experience in configuring and managing Windows server environments, ensuring system performance, reliability, and security.
In-depth knowledge of VMware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance to support virtualized environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), integrating on-premises Windows systems with cloud platforms seamlessly.
Expertise in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS/DHCP configurations to support enterprise-level operations.
Strong understanding of security principles, patch management, and system hardening to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
Experience with monitoring and management tools like VMware vCenter, SCCM, and SolarWinds to proactively manage and troubleshoot system performance.

You Will:

Configure and maintain Windows servers and VMware infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime across the organization.
Deploy, configure, and manage VMware environments to support virtualization, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain hybrid environments that integrate on-premises systems with cloud infrastructure.
Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, responding to incidents to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for both on-premises and cloud environments.
Implement and enforce security best practices for Windows systems and virtual environments to protect against threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Pay Transparency:
$50+ per hour, depending on experience
