A partnership approach facilitates and enhances HR related matters, to the benefit of employees, management, consultants, projects, and partners. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join a small HR Department and be responsible for and oversee the full cycle of recruiting. A broad remit means the role works across both strategic and operational matters and works closely with partners in both Operations and other Support Services functions to ensure the provision of excellent quality talent acquisition services. What you'll be doingOwn the entire hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers.Develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires, creating strong talent pipelines for the Company’s current and future hiring needs.Recruit for roles from entry-level to senior leadership, utilising various sourcing channels and techniques.Support Country HR with guidance on local recruitment activities.Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessment and in person interviews.Optimise ARK’s Applicant Tracking System, encouraging company-wide engagement and a comprehensive understanding of its capabilities.Partner with Hiring managers to define roles, refine job descriptions, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.Build and utilise market data to inform salary ranges for positions, particularly in locations where ARK has not operated previously.Lead employer branding initiatives, working closely with the Head of Communications to schedule regular promotional posts on ARK’s LinkedIn account.Working closely with the Head of Corporate Services, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and donor regulations, and managing control issues with transparency.Create a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.Utilise recruitment metrics to measure performance and optimise hiring strategies.Continuously refine recruitment processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace through recruitment initiatives.RequirementsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Significant experience in managing an in-house talent acquisition service.Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy, ever-changing workload. Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source candidates proactively. Experience working in an international development/humanitarian organisation or other highly regulated international environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with potential candidates Proficient in MS Office, with experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS (MS Dynamics desirable).Fluent in written and spoken English.Knowledge of Pay & Reward/job evaluation desirable.BenefitsWhy join ARK?
