This position may work with infants and toddlers with developmental delays. Because this position is one part of a large system of services provided to infants/toddlers and families, this position also serves as a social service referral person and shares responsibility for parent involvement in the program. The position of Teacher works in tandem with the rest of the parts of the system as an integrated team to support the goals of the program. The position may be reassigned to various classrooms/centers as deemed necessary for program operations. The position may serve as site director for child care licensing purposes.Be able to meet state licensing requirements and have one of the following minimum educational requirements:Current Infant/Toddler CDA credential -or-Other comparable credential as listed below (any one of the following):a. State Infant Toddler Credentialb. Preschool CDA; plus: i. 2nd setting for Infant/Toddler component of CDA; ORii. Infant/Toddler or Early Childhood Education (ECE) courseworkc. Any bachelors or associates degree in any field; plus i. 15 credit hours of Infant/Toddler or ECE coursework or related courseworkd. Bachelors or associates in ECEe. Bachelors or associates in Child Developmentf. No degree or credential, but proof of 120 clock hours of ECE training and 480 hours of experience with a focus on infant and toddler development.Foreign degrees may be accepted, as long as the prospective employee has an evaluation service document that the degree is the equivalent of a US degree.Interested?
