Little Acorns Grow is currently accepting applications for an Infant & Toddler, Preschool, and Elementary Teacher Assistant. The Teacher will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe setting for their students. This position will develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities, provide guidance to support the physical, mental, and emotional development of the children, and create a positive learning environment.Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Observe and assess the development of the children Develop and implement behavior management strategies Participate in parent-teacher conferences Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones Ensure all safety regulations are followed Maintain a clean and organized classroom Model appropriate behaviors for children Relate effectively with children and families in relation to cultural, social and economic background. Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environmentQualifications: Twelve (12) Units in Early Childhood Education Three (3) Units in Infant and Toddler Education CPR and First Aid certification Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related field Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organization skills and problem-solving ability Ability to build rapport with children, families and peersJob Type: Full Time Opportunities for growth Medical Insurance Paid breaks Paid holidays 401K matchingExperience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
