Girl's high school in Las Vegas is seeking a 10th-grade honors biology teacher for immediate hire for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.Small class size, motivated students!Job Duties:- Plan and implement daily biology lessons, as well as corresponding labs- Engage students with creative lessons to illustrate concepts in biology- Meet the needs of students at various levels with differentiated methods of instruction- Manage all aspects of the classroom (including but not limited to instruction, communication, support, and discipline, etc)- Attend all faculty meetings and in-services- Work with the school staff to develop a four-year plan for high school science masteryJob Type: Part-Time 5 periods/week - 4 day workweekLocation: Summerlin, NVSalary: NegotiableExperience: 1-year teaching preferredJob Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to Friday Education:Bachelor's (Preferred) Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Work Location: In person
