Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Canyon Kinder Haus (Daycare). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children (Ages 1-4). This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and professional development. Duties: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Provide care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times - Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and enforcing rules - Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and toileting - Engage children in educational and play activities to promote their cognitive, social, and emotional development - Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and materials Experience: - Previous experience in caregiving, toddler care, or working with young children is preferred - Knowledge of first aid procedures for children is an asset - Experience in a preschool setting, nannying, or babysitting is beneficial. Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow - Ability to follow instructions from the lead teacher and work collaboratively as part of a team.
