JOB POSTING Tire Technician/ Mechanic Trainee C Level We have an immediate opening for a tire technician. You will be responsible for inspecting tires on our tractors/trailers and heavy equipment fleet. Repairing and installing tires and wheels when necessary. Other job duties include tire rotations, balancing, and other shop maintenance. ResponsibilitiesInspect tires on vehicles before and after installationBreaking down tires, repairing and remountingReplace valve stems and remove puncturing objectsInspect tire casings for defects such as holes, cracks, tearsPrepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, clean and polishProperly torquing wheel lugs to specificationsWillingness to learnPerform oil/filter changesGrease chasis/bodyMinor repairs: mud flaps, lights, wiper blades etcAssist shop mechanics as neededMaintain a clean work environmentProgress to more advanced repairs RequirementsSome professional experience removing and installing tiresAttention to detailMechanical mindsetUnderstand importance of punctuality DetailsFull-time employeePay based on experienceFull company benefits: 401(k), vacation, paid holidays
