Part-Time - High School Tutor (Multisite position- You will tutor at one or two schools)Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (5 hours/day, varies by school)Learning & Educational Solutions Inc. (LES) is hiring high school tutors to work with students across all subjects and provide Regents prep.The ideal candidate must have at least three years of prior experience and be highly knowledgeable in high school coursework. MUST BE A SPANISH SPEAKER/BILINGUAL.Road 2 Graduation provides academic support to students at risk of not graduating. You will work alongside a student support advocate to help scholars complete all required work for the school semester/year.Responsibilities:Help students learn and understand new concepts and complete assignments.Prepare plans to help scholars stay on track with their work.Follow up with classroom teachers to ensure scholars have completed their schoolwork.Assist scholars in completing all projects and assignments.Support scholars with Regents prep, implementing new test-taking strategies.Assist scholars with completing credit recovery courses, such as Apex.Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma.Experience in tutoring, working with students, and using Google Classroom.Must be strong in all high school subjects (Math, English, Science, History).Must be able to pass our assessment.MUST BE ABLE TO TUTOR FOR REGENTS PREP.MUST BE A SPANISH SPEAKER/BILINGUAL.Job Type: Part-time (10-25 hours per week)Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In personWebsite: Les inc .org
