We are looking for a tutor who plays a critical role in helping students develop their academic skills and reach their full potential.Whom we are looking for:Better me tutor plays a critical role in helping students develop their academic skills and reach their full potential. The main focus of the role is to assist students in math and English reading with a personalized and individualized approach to learning.What You Will Do:Student Guidance: Provide one-on-one instruction to students based on their individualized learning plans and abilities.Customized Instruction: Design and deliver instructions that tailored to each student's pace and progress.Motivation: Encourage and motivate K to Grade2 students to complete assignments and achieve their learning goals.Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track students' progress, adjusting their learning plans as needed.Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students to help them understand their mistakes and improve their performance.Communication: Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, updating them on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.Admin Tasks: Keep accurate records of students' assignments, progress, and attendance.How You Can Be Qualified:Educational Background: A strong foundation in mathematics and/or reading, typically with at least a high school diploma or equivalent. A background in education is often preferred but not always required.Patience: Ability to work patiently with students of varying ages and skill levels.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to explain concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students and their individual learning plans.Passion for Teaching: A genuine interest in helping students learn and improve their academic skills.Flexibility: Adaptability to work with students at different levels and adjust teaching methods as necessary.Reliability: Consistency in attendance and commitment to the role. Available and willing to work 2-3 days per week, at least 3 hours per day.Pay Range:$18 - $22/hour
