Job Title: UI/UX ResearcherLocation: REMOTE - LATAMRequirements: Must be able to work Los Angeles hours (PST) M-FOverview: Our client is a technology research and design lab based in Los Angeles, and is seeking a talented UI/UX Researcher to join the team and help shape the user experience of their products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research, with a passion for understanding user needs and translating them into actionable insights. This role is critical in ensuring that products are user-centered and meet the needs of their diverse audience.Key Responsibilities:User Research:Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through various methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics.Develop user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions and strategy.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate research findings into actionable insights that inform product design and development.Usability Testing:Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate product functionality and identify areas for improvement.Analyze and report on usability findings, providing clear recommendations for enhancing the user experience.Data Analysis:Gather and analyze user data from various sources, including web analytics, heatmaps, and user feedback, to identify trends and opportunities for improving the user experience.Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that user research findings are integrated into the design and development process.Advocate for the user at every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring that the user’s voice is heard and prioritized.Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX research methodologies and tools.Continuously seek out new ways to improve the research process and deliver impactful insights that drive product success.Qualifications:Proven experience in UI/UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to translate user insights into product improvements.Proficiency in research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings to stakeholders.A user-centered mindset, with a passion for creating products that deliver exceptional user experiences.Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field is preferred.
